Spring Break Camp:

What: This camp will cover introduction to Public Forum, a high school debate format. Throughout the camp, we will also go over advanced argumentation, rebuttal, and weighing techniques and mechanisms.

Who: This camp is open to current 5th - 8th graders. However, 6th - 8th graders will be given registration priority. All levels of experience are welcome.

Where: Discord, which we will send after accepting applications

When: 4/6/2026 - 4/10/2026 (5 days); 7PM - 9PM PST

Cost: $5; Funds will go to website maintenance

The Washington Speech and Debate Association, founded in 2026, thrives to make debate accessible, available, and fun for everyone. By providing low cost camps with high quality coaching, we bring debate to students in a fun and interactive way. Most importantly, however, we work towards increasing interest in speech and debate, and making students more comfortable with public speaking.
