What is WASDA?

WASDA is an organization made for middle school to high school students to learn and receive in depth education in debate. Coached by national level debaters and trained with drills proven to work, debaters will improve instantly and be able to compete in no time

Our Mission

The Washington Speech and Debate Association, founded in 2026, thrives to make debate accessible, available, and fun for everyone. By providing low cost camps with high quality coaching, we bring debate to students in a fun and interactive way. Most importantly, however, we work towards increasing interest in speech and debate, and making students more comfortable with public speaking.
